Both look great to me.
If possible, also create an unbranded version too (ie, one that doesn't include the trademarked fedora name or logo), one which we can fast-track into fedorainfinity-* packaging.
Images with the trademarked items will need to go into fedora-logos.
The first one seems to fit into the rest of the F8 artwork, so in terms of consistency, I think the first one is the better one. Although personally, I think the second one looks the best, I'm a big fan of blue! :P
the first one... the bluing on the top does not look quite right.

These both look great! I think the first really fits the rest of the theme though. Although, I would have cropped the lines on the left more so the fedora logo and logotype could be centered. Do you have a source file for this? I could try to tweak it?
